As a city council member Ron Carter has followed one overriding goal. That is to make sure that Carmel is considered; by our current residents, by those who own businesses who may be looking to locate here, and by those who work for those businesses; to be the very best place to live in the Midwest and, for that matter, one of the most desirable places in the entire United States to live, work and raise a family.

Ron Carter is a founder and the president of the Carmel Farmers Market.  Ron has been the leading advocate of trails and greenways in Carmel city government for over twenty years. Through Ron's leadership Carmel has been designated a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. I am Doug Setters, a singer/guitarist.  I've played at restaurants, municipal events, special events, festivals, wine shops, and breweries. After a career in the insurance industry, I'm now pursuing my passion for music.

My concept is to present an inviting mix of great songs along with some of my original tunes for a unique live music experience. I cover everybody from Sinatra to Johnny Cash. It's all about the songs.  Songs are a medium for story telling. Story telling with songs has been going on in pretty much all the world's cultures since the beginning. Songs still inform and connect us as only great tunes can.
